Vanessa Bejec Silverio, DNP, FNP-C, graduated from Valparaiso University with a Post-Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Cincinnati and her Bachelors of Science in nursing degree from Rush University. Dr. Silverio has been practicing in family practice for 7 years and has been in the nursing field for 13 years.  She looks forward to providing you with high quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

Jean Herd, MSN, FNP, received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. She completed her master’s in nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University. Jean has experience working in family health, for the Veterans Health Administration, and for various local primary care organizations. Jean is excited to bring her expertise to the patients she serves.

Kristen Krupa serves as Patient Advocate for Porter Trust with Proactive MD. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s College in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in human services and social work. Kristen worked as a case manager for nearly 12 years serving primarily the elderly population as well as medically fragile children. She and her family reside in Lowell, Indiana. In her free time she enjoys reading books, crafting, thrift shopping, and spending time with her two grand babies.
